Meet Dee Levang, Our Aesthetic Technician and Mohs Histotechnician

Dee Levang is an Aesthetic Technician and Mohs Histotechnician at SCC Derm Surgery. In her role as an Aesthetic Technician, Dee performs DiamondGlow™ treatments and microblading, a new offering at our practice. As a Mohs Histotechnician, she embeds tissue for cryostat sectioning after patients visit the office to be treated for skin cancer.

With a strong background in graphic design and art, Dee’s attention to detail helps her excel in her work and bring valuable skills to our growing repertoire of services.

Dee feels thankful to be part of the amazing team at SCC Derm Surgery. With the staff being like a second family to her, coming into the practice is not like coming into a typical doctor’s office. “The atmosphere here will help you to relax and ease your worries,” she says.

Bringing Her Passion to Our Practice

After being diagnosed with breast cancer and going through treatments herself, Dee experienced losing her eyebrows. She decided when she was well again she was going to learn how to microblade eyebrows and help others look and feel their best. With her dedication, our practice now offers microblading, a procedure that adds pigment to the skin to create semi-permanent hair strokes.

When she’s not in the office, Dee loves spending time with her husband of over 20 years and her daughter who will be a senior in high school in the fall. She also enjoys spending time in her art studio creating abstract art with encaustic or oil and cold wax. Check out one of her encaustic pieces below.

And, be sure to catch Dee next time you visit our office!
