Appointment Scheduling Timeframes

During the COVID-19 outbreak and time of uncertainty, our office remains open to continue serving our patients.

For skin cancers or abnormal moles referred to our office for treatment, we have a suggested timeframe for scheduling appointments. Below we’ve outlined how soon we recommend scheduling an appointment after receiving a diagnosis on a biopsy.

Invasive Malignant Melanoma (MM): Within 1 week

Melanoma in situ (MIS): Within 2 weeks

CMP/JMP/Atypical nevus cannot rule out melanoma in situ: Within 6-8 weeks

CMP/JMP/Atypical nevus favor melanoma in situ: Within 2-4 weeks

Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC): Within 4-6 weeks

Squamous Cell Carcinoma In Situ (SCCIS): Within 6-12 weeks

Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC): Within 8-12 weeks
