As one of our billing specialists, Sam Hilliard reviews quotes for our patients’ procedures and works with insurance companies to process claims. She is also a wonderfully experienced medical assistant who is happy to help with direct patient care whenever needed.
Her problem-solving skills and background in medical billing help her excel in this role. She sees billing and claims like a puzzle, seeing that all pieces fit together to complete the billing process.
Sam worked with Dr. Tull at her previous practice and joined us at SCC Derm Surgery in 2021. Since joining our team, she has been dedicated to our commitment to treating every patient like family.
“The atmosphere here is very comfortable,” Sam said. “The girls get along well and they are all after one goal of making sure the patient has the best experience and care.”
In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time with her family, watching her daughter grow up and going on daily walks with her three dogs.
